Seacrets Distilling Company announces their fifth release of the Double Barrel Spiced Rum. SDC’s small-batch blend of spiced & barrel-aged rums are handcrafted with five all-natural spices that have been barreled into a brand new American oak charred barrel.
The process begins with Seacrets White Rum being macerated with cinnamon, allspice, nutmeg, clove and crystallized ginger. After the desired flavor is achieved, the Spiced Rum was barreled (for the second time) in the American Oak barrel for an extended period of time, picking up a flavor profile consisting of vanilla, oak and a mild spice undertone.
The fifth released, limited edition Double Barrel Spiced Rum is available Friday, November 22 exclusively at Seacrets, Atlantic Beverage Center as well as the Distillery- all located on 49th street, bayside. This will mark SDC’s third release of a limited edition spirit this year following Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee Spiced Rum and Barrel Finished Gin.
